Mouthfilling | White Peach | Melon Pair

Spain's version of sparkling wine, made in the same method as Champagne, from Xarel Lo, Parellada and Macabeo. Solid white-fruit aromas blend with a grassy note of hay as well as dusty floral scents. A smooth mouthfeel is devoid of edginess, while friendly white peach, melon and apple flavours are round on the finish.

Pair with fresh oysters, raw seafood or any pre dinner canapes

The Carnival of Venice began in the twelfth century – a celebration of victory against the Patriarch of Aquileia. Each year San Marco Square would fill with people dancing and feasting behind elaborate and exotic masks, adding to the mystique of the Carnival. And so La Maschera (the mask) was born. Italy has a long history with Prosecco, which has inspired the making of La Maschera Prosecco.

‘La Maschera’ translates in English to ‘The Mask’ and as we know, masks are a traditional part of the Carnival of Venice celebrations held each year in Veneto in the north-east region of Italy, which is the home of the Pinot Grigio grape. The climatic conditions are somewhat similar to the maritime region of the Limestone Coast where the grapes for this wine were grown.

Light pale straw in colour. The wine displays tropical aromas of passionfruit and honeydew melon with subtle herbal top notes and sprinkles of lemon sherbet. All of these flavours surround an intense herbaceous core. The palate is clean, generously flavoured: an elegant balance of acidity and fruit intensity with a lip smacking crisp finish. The flavour profile for this wine allows it to be enjoyed on its own or with a wide range of light aperitif or Asian dishes

A co-fermented blend of mouth-watering Riesling, spicy Gewürztraminer and textural Kerner, from the only commercial planting of this varietal in Australia. Very complex.
 
Pale with green freshness. Bright lemon, lime, lemongrass and lychee aromas. Plush and juicy with a fresh mix of nectarine, green apple and lychee, mouth-watering texture and supple acidity and a long, persistent rose water-like finish.

This is a lush, mouth filling wine with intense black cherry, plum, raspberry and some earthy undertones. The American Oak maturation brings attractive spice and mocha characters to the palate. The wine is medium to full-bodied with great balance, well integrated oak and the finish is persistent and imminently enjoyable.

This is all kinds of delicious. Ripe blackberry and cedar-boxy goodness on the nose. The palate follows with ribena jubey-ness with hints of spicy clove framed by soft graphite like tannins. Intense, fleshy and yet elegant, this has all the hallmarks of great McLaren Vale booze. Fragrant, blackcurrant and supple.

On the palate the wine is rich and full-bodied with flavours of juicy blackberries, cranberries, and black currants abound, followed by notes of vanilla and sweet spice. Pair this Malbec with a meat dish that mirrors its tangy berry flavours like cranberry pot roast or roast duck with sour cherry sauce.

These grapes come from beautiful old bush-vines, on the Helderberg Mountain at the heart of the estate where we are located in Stellenbosch. Here is all the 'good' aspects of Pinotage’s heritage into the bottle - cherry fruit related to Pinot, spiciness related to Cinsault. Free-run juice only was used which displays red cherries, violets and a juicy palate, which finishes with balance, length, a touch of minerality and some really funky spice.

Red Ripe Fruits | Berries | Pepper

A dry red wine made from Kalecik Karasi grapes indigenous to Anatolia. Ruby in color with slight garnet reflections. Intense flavors of ripe red fruits, strawberries, raspberries and plum are present on the palate along with spicy notes of black pepper and chestnuts. Vinkara Kalecik Karas is smooth, well balanced and intense with a long lingering finish.
