Q: ARE YOU BYO for BEVERAGES?

A: No, PAZAR is a fully licensed establishment that offers a diverse selection of alcoholic beverages, including beers, wines, cocktails, and other assorted drinks. While we don't typically allow BYO, we occasionally host special BYO nights during the week. These events are announced and promoted through our official social media channels on Instagram and Facebook, so make sure to follow us there for updates on upcoming BYO nights.

Q: WHAT IS THE MINIMUM BOOKING SIZE?

A: We welcome bookings of any size at PAZAR. However, please note that due to limited availability of 2 and 3 seat tables, we recommend larger groups of 4 or more for a more shared communal dining experience. If you're interested in trying our popular 8 Course FEAST, it is ideal for groups of 3 or more.

Q: CAN YOU CATER LARGE GROUPS AND PRIVATE FUNCTIONS?

A: Absolutely! At PAZAR, we specialise in catering to large groups and private functions, making us the perfect choice for your upcoming event. Our menu is designed for sharing and communal dining, creating a memorable experience for all your guests. Whether it's a wedding, birthday celebration, christening, or any other special occasion, we have you covered. We offer tailored packages to meet your specific needs and budget, ensuring a personalised and unforgettable event. Q: CAN YOU CATER FOR DIETARIES, VEGETARIANS & VEGANS?

A: To an extent, yes. At PAZAR, we can easily cater to gluten intolerance and vegetarians. Depending on the fresh produce available at the markets on the day, we create substitute dishes. However, we regret that we cannot accommodate allergies to onions, garlic, chili, salt, etc., as these ingredients are essential for the depth of flavour in our food. Some dishes can be modified to be vegan-friendly, but we are unable to offer an entire 8 Course Vegan menu.

Q: WHY DO WE HAVE TO LEAVE AT A CERTAIN TIME?

A: Due to staffing constraints and high demand, we have two distinct seating times at PAZAR. We kindly request that you vacate the table after the allocated 2 hours, as we need time to clean, sanitise, and set up for the next reservation. If tables are not booked again for our second session and it is logistically possible, we will happily extend your stay with us.

Q: CAN I BRING A CAKE OR ANY OTHER DESSERT?

A: Regrettably, we cannot permit outside cakes or desserts at PAZAR due to health and safety regulations. However, we do offer a tempting selection of desserts, and we can enhance your celebration with a sparkler or candle. Just inform your server or specify your request in the booking comments. For larger groups and special events, we can also help you arrange a celebration cake through one of our trusted partners. For more information, please feel free to email us. Q: ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?

A: Absolutely! We love having kids dine with us, and they are more than welcome at PAZAR. If your child is dining from our FEAST menu and falls between the ages of 5 and 12, they will be charged at the listed kids' prices. Infants and toddlers will not be charged but should be included in the guest count. Children will be served from the same menu as the adults. We can accommodate prams or strollers only in our al fresco area, as it is not logistically feasible to accommodate them in the front dining room. If you require a high chair or will be bringing a pram, please inform us in the "notes" section at the time of booking.

Q: WHAT DINING AREAS DO YOU HAVE?

A: At PAZAR, we have two main dining areas. The inside front dining room can seat groups of up to 6 guests at one table, while the covered alfresco area is suitable for larger groups. During winter, the alfresco area is heated, and during summer, we cool it with micro misting fans. This area is particularly popular for larger groups, and whenever possible, we can join tables or create semi-exclusive dining areas based on the size of your party. Our tables throughout PAZAR are a mix of high and low tables.

Q: HOW ARE TABLES ALLOCATED?

A: While we do welcome table requests, we cannot guarantee specific seating arrangements. The allocation of tables is done on the day, considering factors such as the seating floor plan, booking date, weather conditions, and seating requests. We always strive to accommodate your needs, but please understand that it may not always be possible. The duty manager on the day will have the final discretion in determining the table settings.

Q: WHAT TIME DO WE ARRIVE, AND WHAT HAPPENS IF WE ARE LATE?

A: We kindly ask you to respect your reservation time and arrive promptly with your entire party. Please avoid arriving early, as we may not be able to seat you immediately. If you anticipate being more than 15 minutes late, please inform us by texting us at 0411 727 874. In the event that you run more than 20 minutes late for our set FEAST menu, your table may experience a limited menu or hurried service to ensure that it doesn't impact the diners at the next seating. If any individual members of your party fail to arrive at the reserved time, their dishes may be excluded or replaced.

Q: WHY DO I NEED A CREDIT CARD TO BOOK?

A: We require credit card details to secure your reservation at PAZAR. Rest assured, no charges will be made to your card at the time of booking. However, in the event of a no-show, a drastic reduction in the number of guests, or a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee of $50 per person will be charged to your card. This policy ensures that we can manage our reservations effectively and accommodate other guests who may be interested in dining with us.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

A: At PAZAR, you can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled reservation time by using the cancellation link provided in your confirmation email. If you need to make any changes or cancellations after this 24-hour window, we kindly ask you to contact the restaurant directly via SMS or email. In such cases, the cancellation fee will be at our discretion, and we will work with you to find a suitable resolution. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all our guests while also managing our reservations effectively.

Q: WHERE DO WE PARK?

A: Parking options are available near PAZAR for your convenience. You can park in the Gould Street Car Park located at the corner of Gould Street and Canterbury Rd. Additionally, parking is also available in Wonga Street. If the parking opposite PAZAR and adjacent streets are full, we recommend taking a short walk down to the traffic lights at the intersection of Wonga Street. We highly recommend using the pedestrian crossing at that location for a safe and convenient crossing.
